A new format saw double-in, double-out for the Spalding League divisional cup quarter-finals.
In the Division One Supreme Cup, Lincoln Arms A beat Rose and Crown C 5-4 in a last-game decider.
Dave Bourne held his nerve to beat Kev Aldhouse. Ant Richardson kept up his good form after being named Northamptonshire County A team player of the season, by firing in another 180 in his win.
Lincoln will play Royal Mail Cart in the next round after they despatched Rose & Crown A. A solid start put Mail Cart 3-0 up and singles wins for Paul Faulkner, Jacob Herd and Stu Page sealed victory. Harry Faulkner started with a 160 in and missed his double for a 141 check out to have the magical six-darter.
The other semi final will be between Ye Olde Abbey and Consti A, who both had 8-1 victories.
Abbey beat Consti D 8-1 with John Robinson being the only winner for the Consti against JJ Bird.
The other saw Consti A beat Drayman’s Arms B with Matt Broderick the only winner, beating Sam Roberts. Chris Fidler had a 100 checkout in a nine-dart leg.
In Division Two’s Dick Morgan Cup there will be a tasty semi-final between Consti E and Holbeach Services A.
Holbeach beat Riverside A 7-2, with Danny Goddard having a 101 checkout in his win over Carl Kirk. The sole singles winner for Riverside was Andy Picinelli, who beat Stu Stephens.
Consti E beat Lincoln Arms B by the same scoreline, with John Charlton the only singles winner for the Lincoln.
The other semi-final will be between Mulberrys and Riverside B. Riverside beat Pinchbeck FC B 6-3 and Mulberrys beat Holbeach Services B 9-0.
In the Division Three Kelly Foster Cup, Moulton Harrox got a walkover and will play Pinchbeck FC C in the semi-final. Pinchbeck beat top-of-the-table Green Dragon B 5-4 with young Rydan Dobney sealing victory for Pinchbeck in his win against Toby Lyons.
Punchbowl romped into the semi-final by beating Drayman’s D 9-0. They lost only two legs all night. They will play Riverside C in the semi-finals after they won 8-1 against Spalding Services. Tom Hornby was the only winner for the Services.
