South Holland residents are being reminded to have a say on Spalding town centre access.
A consultation is being held to gain an insight into the issue.
Almost 600 people have already taken part and the consultation closes on Tuesday, July 24.
The Spalding Town Forum is running the survey and is looking to understand feelings about the current Traffic Regulation Order. Currently the Market Place and Hall Place are covered by the order which runs from 10am to 4pm and on market days.
“We have had a brilliant response so far to the survey and I am grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts,” said South Holland council member Elizabeth Sneath.
“The interest in the survey underlines how important this issue is for local people, and it is for the Spalding Town Forum too, which is why gaining this insight into how the public feel about town centre access has been so crucial.
“If you haven’t done so, it’s not too late to have your say, and whether you are a local resident or whether you’re coming into the town from a little further afield, we want to hear from you,” she added.
The survey is being run under the banner of ‘Love Spalding’, a new branding created for the town forum which is working to promote the town centre.
The survey can be completed online at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Spaldingtowncentre or hard copies collected from the South Holland Centre and Boston College.
