A new daytime event for dance music is launching in Spalding on Saturday (August 22).
A Day of Dance will see some top DJs at the Spalding Constitutional Club in Broad Street from 2pm to 10pm.
Along with top local talent, Northampton based DJ Percy Williams will be one of those manning the decks with a unique set of 80s remixes.
And there will also be a performance from The Jump Ups, a brand new four piece performing live house, drum and bass and garage music.
A Day of Dance has been currated by local music legend Shaun Neal.
“It is a brand-new daytime dance event where will be bringing the feel of the Ibiza dance scene to Spalding,” said the DJ. “It’s something I’ve wanted to create for several years – a summer daytime event featuring local talent alongside live music and a special guest DJ.”
“As well as eight hours of music, there will be three bars serving drinks throughout the venue and a barbecue running all day, creating a real summer festival atmosphere.
“If you enjoy dance and electronic music, this is an event not to be missed.”
As well as Shaun, DJs on the day will include Loz J Yates, Samm & Rich Dee, Andy Woolsey and Jordan Elston.
On The Jump Ups, Shaun said: I’m fortunate to have secured them before they begin appearing at festivals and on cruise ships in the coming months.”
