Dance Factor Lincolnshire groups try to stake place in final

Four groups from South Holland are ready to try and stake a place in the final of Dance Factor Lincolnshire.

The local semi-final is in front of a live audience and judges at the South Holland Centre in Spalding tonight (Friday, April 24).

Crews have all been working hard to develop their own dance routines and hoping to impress with their performances will be D-Feet (Holbeach), Explosion (Long Sutton), The Goz Funk (Gosberton) and The Elite (Spalding).
Also competing will be Elementrics, Electricity Blue and Xcella (all Boston) and Kirton group Deviate.

Dance Factor was launched in January and led to 27 crews being formed across Lincolnshire. It provided 750 people aged between 11 and 18 up to ten weeks of sessions with a professional dance artist.
The semi-final winners go through to the final against groups from 13 other regions in Lincolnshire on Sunday, May 10.

Winners from three categories in the final will have the chance to be the warm-up for Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity at Lincoln Castle on Saturday, June 13.

Tickets for the semi-final (8pm) are £3. Call the South Holland Centre on 01775 764777.

Dance Factor is run by InspireDance with support from many bodies including Transported, South Holland District Council, 1Life and Leisure In The Community.
