Cyclist dies after collision with tractor

A cyclist has died after a collision involving a tractor in Weston Hills.

The woman, who Lincolnshire Police say was in her 50s, was involved in the collision with a green tractor towing a trailer on Fengate Drove shortly after 5pm last night (Tuesday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “Sadly the pedal cyclist, a women in her 50s, died at the scene.  Her family have been informed. 

“Fengate Drove is an unclassified road which runs between Fengate and Moulton Chapel Road.  The road was closed at the time and reopened at approximately 1 am this morning.

“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either the green tractor and trailer or the pedal cyclist in the area around 5pm.  We would ask drivers who have dashcam and may have caught either vehicle or cycle to check their footage.“
