Crufts success for winner Flynn

Teamwork really did make the dream work for a South Holland dog breeder.

Lisa Lindfield travelled to the world famous Crufts show at the weekend and returned home with a coveted red rosette for her miniature wirehaired dachsund Flynn.
With the pedigree name of Nigel Nu at Zabannah, Flynn wowed the judges and took his class honours after coming third last year.
“We have had a real team effort with Flynn. Whaplode Drove Ringcraft have taught us all we know about showing on the ‘green carpet’ and Gedney Road Groomers is Long Sutton have done a marvellous job hand stripping and preparing Flynn for all his shows.
“I’m enormously grateful to them for their help and support,” said Linda.
She has lived in Holbeach for six years and breeds miniature dachsunds – which she refers to ‘as the best dogs in the world.’
“It was a really exciting day at Crufts as they have over 20,000 dogs from all over the world attending and competing over four days. We were over the moon at Flynn being first in his class. Last year he surprised us with a third, so you never know what 2026 Crufts has in store, he has already qualified,” said Lisa.
