Crowland lose ground after call-off

Crowland Town fell further behind with their GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League fixtures after Saturday’s home match against Deeping United was called off due to an unfit pitch.

It leaves the Snowden Field side 11 points adrift of the top two, but with a minimum of five games in hand. It also left them short of match fitness going into this Saturday’s Lincolnshire County FA Junior Cup semi-final against Ruston Sports.
Holbeach United Reserves’ hopes of silverware in the Senior Cup were ended with a 3-1 semi-final defeat at home to Warboys Town. Denis Coelho got Tigers’ goal.
Jack Baker got Long Sutton’s Athletic’s goal in a 4-1 defeat at home to Yaxley Reserves in Division One.
An eight-goal thriller in Division Two ended all square, with Brandon Harker’s hat-trick and a strike from substitute Kyle Davis earning Tydd a share of the points at home to Hampton United. Tydd finished with ten men after Charlie King saw red in the 71st minute.
Pinchbeck-based Peterborough Polonia’s hopes of moving into the promotion places were dashed with a 3-1 defeat at Thorney, where Tomasz Ramian hit an
89th-minute consolation.
Alex Clements-Limb
and Jack Thomas notched for Sutton Bridge Athletic in a surprise 3-2 defeat at struggling Oakham United Reserves.
