The semi-finals and finals of the Lincolnshire Women’s Bowling Federation were held over two days at Moorlands Railway Bowls Club in Lincoln.
Among those competing for Spalding-area clubs in the semi-finals were Maggie Wheatley, Jessica Butters (Castle Spalding); Marion Perkins, Christine Jackson, Julie Hicks (Moulton Harrox) and Sandra Hammond (Spalding Town).
All progressed to the next stage, with success for Castle’s Jessica Butters, who retained her u25s singles title.
Moulton Harrox trio Perkins (2 x singles, pairs and two-wood triples), Jackson (two-wood triples) and Hicks (pairs and two-wood triples), and Spalding Town’s Sandra Hammond (four-wood singles) will now face 12 other counties at Skegness North Shore Bowling Greens towards the end of August.
