Council looking to create Wellness Map

South Holland District Council is looking for groups to feature on its Wellbeing Map.

You’ll have to be quick though as the deadline is Friday, March 1.
It aims to highlight local facilities, organisations and spaces available to boost wellbeing locally.
The initiative will be done at zero cost for those included and will focus in the Holbeach and Crowland areas of the District, before expanding outward over time.
Coun Tracey Carter, deputy leader and portfolio holder for communities and operational housing, said: “Our collective understanding of mental health and wellbeing has come a long way in recent years and this initiative underpins the council’s ambition to support our residents by highlighting the fantastic local opportunities and facilities we have around us.
“While we’re initially looking just at Holbeach and Crowland, the plan will be to expand out over time and I’d like to encourage as many local people, businesses and groups to get in touch with us and engage with any suggestions so we can make this a big success.”
