Consti A beat Rose & Crown A 7-2 to move one step closer to the Spalding League Division One title.
Consti went 2-1 up in the pairs with the highlight being a 17-dart leg for Nick Moyses and Chris Fidler. Consti extended their lead by winning five of the next six games. Mark Waters was the only singles winner for Rose & Crown.
Moyses kept up his good night, going on last and winning 2-0 with an 18-dart leg.
Rose & Crown C romped to a 9-0 win, only dropping two legs all night. Stand-outs were a 180 from Kev Aldhouse, a 17-dart leg for Logan Goddard and a 14-dart leg for Ant Richardson.
Ye Olde Abbey beat Consti D 6-3, with Ady Smith hitting a 180 for Consti. Abbey started the night well, winning all three pairs and then three of the six singles.
Drayman’s A beat Lincoln Arms A 5-4. In a tight encounter, Phil Newton got the all-important win against Tony Spinks to seal victory. Spinks fought hard and had a 100 checkout in his winning leg. Steve Urch scored heavily and had an 18-dart leg in his victory for Drayman’s and Simon Hill hit a 180 in his win for the Lincoln.
Pinchbeck FC A remain top of Division Two after with a 9-0 win over Holbeach Services B. Connor Mackenzie threw a 180 and Harvey Elderkin hit an 18-dart leg.
Consti E won 7-2 against Lincoln B and are four points behind Pinchbeck but have a game in hand. Calum Ward and Dan Gent started the night well for Consti, hitting a 15-dart leg in the pairs. Highlight for the Lincoln was Andy Palmer’s 116 checkout, which helped the Lincoln win the first pairs game.
Five Bells beat Mulberrys 6-3 and Pinchbeck FC B won by the same margin against Riverside A.
Holbeach Services A won a good game 5-4 against Riverside B and, although the scoreline was tight, Services won with two games spare. Josh Higgins had a 130 checkout for Riverside in his win but game of the night was between Chris Chamberlain and Darren Norton, which Chamberlain won 2-1. Norton hit a maximum 180 and a 17-dart leg in the leg he won. Chamberlain had an 18-dart leg and hit a 142 checkout to take the win.
In Division Three, Green Dragon B won a tight game 5-4 against Pinchbeck FC C. They did it after going 4-2 down and needed to win the last three games to take victory. Dan Martin, Toby Lyons and Harry Tucker all stood up and won their games to take the points for the Dragon.
Moulton Harrox are hot on Dragon’s heels in second place after winning 7-2 against Drayman’s C.
Punchbowl are also enjoying their first season together and sit joint second place after a 5-4 win against Spalding Services. They got the game sewn up early by winning five of the first six games.
Tigers B has a comfortable 7-2 win against Drayman’s D and Tigers A were comfortable 6-3 victors against Riverside C.
