‘Confrontation’ led to street closure

An altercation between a group of women led to part of Sheep Market in Spalding being closed off last week.

Four police vehicles attended the scene at around 11am on Thursday, April 17.
Lincolnshire Police say a 43-year-old woman had been arrested as a result of the incident, but no charges had been brought as The Voice went to press on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to the Sheep Market in Spalding after reports of a confrontation between a group of women.
“Officers were deployed to the scene and a 43-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
