COLUMN: Springfields is packed with events in coming weeks

With half term now under way there is plenty happening at Springfields this week.

Many of our top stores such as Gap, Marks and Spencer and Clarks have great offers so make sure you pop in to get yourself a bargain. Remember the new Fat Face store is now open with clothing for all the family and this new outlet is worth a visit alone.
Following on from our summer of fantastic events the first of our “winter” events will be held tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 27).

Brendan Cole, from Strictly Come Dancing, will be here to switch on our Christmas Lights at 7.30pm. The event kicks off at 6pm and will be hosted by Kev and Ros from Heart FM and there will be entertainment from teenage singing sensation Chantelle Lee, festive songs from Peterborough Sings and there will be even some jive dancing on stage prior to Brendan’s arrival.
There will be opportunities for selfies and autographs after the lights are switched on and all our stores will be open to 9pm.

Next Thursday (November 3) we will be hosting our annual fireworks and laser show in the festival gardens.
This year’s theme is music through the last five decades, giving you the opportunity to sing along while watching the brilliant show.
Tickets are on sale at our information point and also on our website www.springfieldsshopping.co.uk/events
We would recommend to book early, not only to ensure your space on the night but we are offering an early bird discount as well. Again all the stores will be open until 9pm.

The following Thursday we will be into our Christmas hours where all our stores will be open from Monday to Friday until 9pm giving you plenty time to get your Christmas presents.
Remember to check our social media for offers and also further events such as Black Friday and the arrival of Father Christmas, which will be on December 1, tying in with the opening of our fantastic Christmas Grotto.

We hope to see you all at Springfields in the coming weeks and come and join in the fun in our forthcoming events.
