Clinical Quorn make mincemeat out of profligate Pinchbeck United

Quorn 7
Pinchbeck United 0

Pinchbeck United slipped to their worst defeat of the Uhlsport UCL Premier Division season on Saturday as Quorn crushed them 7-0.

The second-from bottom Knights were ruthlessly put to the sword by their title chasing hosts at Farley Way Stadium, with seven different players finding the net.

Stephen Hart, Micah Jebbison, Tawanda Mangondoza, Rackeem Reid, Richard Whyman, Leavi Oshungbure and Sebastian Rowland all found the net to leave Ian Dunn’s side heavily beaten.

Dunn said: “Even though we lost 7-0, we had lots of chances.

“The difference was that they were as ruthless in front of goal as any team I’ve seen.

“We had five great chances and missed all of them. 7-5 would have been a fairer reflection.”

Knights: Woolley, Gordon, Gaukroger, Worthington, Nuttell, Gilbert, Finlay, Parsons, Kacirek, Maltby, Gee. Subs: Moody, Dunn, Celson.
