Children become ‘internet legends’ learning safety skills

Children from St Paul’s Primary School in Spalding have been encouraged to ‘Be Internet Legends’.

They took part in the educational programme aimed at seven to 11-year-olds to help them be safe, confident explorers of the online world. It’s being run by Google and family internet safety experts Parent Zone.

Children at the school’s nursery were also shown Interland – an adventure game to make learning about online safety fun and informative.

Children learn about avoiding hackers, phishers and bullies, practising the skills learned with free online resources at beinternetawesome.withgoogle.com
