Cheer on Spalding in cup final

The Tulips Supporters’ Club has been a massive hit this season and it’s looking to take at least two coachloads of fans to Spalding United’s County Cup final in two weeks’ time.

The Tulips will take on Scunthorpe United in the final at Lincoln City’s LNER Stadium on Wednesday, April 17.
There are two coaches set to take supporters to the game from 5.45pm at Spalding Bus Station for the 7.45pm kick off.
Tickets are £10 for supporters’ club members and £15 for non members.
Anyone who wants to book a place can do so by contacting 07446 301268.
The Tulips Supporters’ Club was formed last summer to help promote Spalding United and increase attendance.
It’s something that’s certainly having an effect with crowds soaring into the several hundreds with a highest of over 650.
As well as initiatives such as allowing kids to go free for some games, they’ve also put on events and carried out collections for food banks during the season.
“The supporters’ club idea has gone down very well,” said Tulips Supporters’ Club’s Paul Parkin. “We’ve over 100 members signed up.
“We’re not here to make a profit, just to get more people involved and interested in Spalding United.
“We’ve started a club shop and have been putting on events.
“The club’s chief executive Leigh Porter says he’s very pleased with it.”
