Characters shown across the district for World Book Day

Once again South Holland residents have thrown themselves into World Book Day.

Each year literary lovers dress up as their favourite characters to promote reading and literature.

This year’s took place last Thursday and there were some fantastic costumes on show!

Here’s a selection of some of those submitted.
