Dom Brand hung on to take another victory but only by a whisker.
He stopped the clock at 22mins 13secs, just five seconds ahead of Matt Chappell, who has been getting closer every week.
Nigel Swepson rounded out the podium with a solid time of 23:37.
The road bike category is also hotting up. Tom Wright took the win (25:54) but Josh Dixon was not far behind in 26:10.
Arguably the ride of the night was from new cyclist George Chappell, debuting as a guest. He was third with a time of 28:41.
Evgeniya Brand rode strongly in the women’s category with a win in 26:17, followed home by Samantha Briffett, 29:36, and Christine Payne, 32:03.
