Celebrations lead to boost

Local organisations are better off thanks to events run in Moulton this year.

The Moulton Celebration Committee put on hugely successful events including to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the regular Harvest Weekend.
All proved huge hits with the public and raised £2,000 taking the total raised over three years to £5,500.
That has been donated to the Moulton Community Association, Moulton Church, Moulton Windmill, Spalding Community Choir and Spalding and District Young Farmers.
A spokesman for the Moulton Celebration Committee said: “We would like to thank everyone for supporting this year’s events.
“We have planned for next year’s Harvest Weekend on September 13 and 14.
“Please follow our Facebook page Moulton Celebration Committee for further updates.”
