It’s on at The South Holland Centre until Saturday, September 23.
A spokesman said: “Act II Theatre Company’s Music Theatre group follow up on their recent successes (The Sound Of Music, Sunshine On Leith) with the local premiere of Big Fish.
“Step into the world of storyteller Edward Bloom and join him on his fantastical adventures.
“Two casts of local young performers plus a 13-piece orchestra brings this tale to life.
“Edward is a storyteller whose tales delight everyone. Everyone that is, except his son, Will.
“Will is desperate to get to know who his father really is but Edward’s stories always get in the way.
“Can Will and Edward repair their relationship before Edward’s deteriorating health takes away their opportunity?
“Quirky, heartfelt and fantastical, Act II brings this magical musical to the South Holland Centre on September 20 to 23 at 7:30pm.
“In addition, there is a relaxed performance at 2:30pm on Saturday 23.”
The Junior cast performs on September 20 and 22, the senior cast on 21 and 23.
