Castle Sports Complex staff in charity fundraisers

Staff from Spalding’s Castle Sports Complex are holding a couple of fundraising events next week.

A pre-Halloween spooky day on Wednesday (October 14)  is in aid of WheelPower and Macmillan charities and will raise funds towards a new defibrillator for the centre. The day will feature staff in spooky costume, Halloween-themed classes, and a quiz night in the bar.

And on Friday, October 16, staff will be taking part in a spin marathon at Morrisons supermarket in Pinchbeck to raise money for WheelPower and awareness of the disability week that South Holland District Council is running as part of its ‘SHout and About’ scheme.
Disability sports sessions will run at both Castle Sports Complex and Peele Leisure Centre in Long Sutton.
