Carpetright to close tomorrow with 24 hour gym set to open in building

The Spalding branch of Carpetright is set to close tomorrow (Saturday February 17) with a 24-hour PureGym to open in its place.

Signs have gone up at the Westlode Street store announcing the closure.

Meanwhile the chain PureGym says on its website a Spalding branch ‘is coming soon’ where it confirms it will be in the premises Carpetright currently operates from.

As previously reported a change of use planning application for a 24-hour gym was passed by planners in October.

The Spalding Voice has approached both Carpetright and Puregym for a comment but hasn’t received one at the time of writing.
