A Pinchbeck-based firm is celebrating two decades of solid growth.
Vehicle credit management specialist Anglia UK was set up by managing director Mark Scotney in 1997 as a small firm specialising in vehicle repossessions for the car finance industry. Since that time it has grown steadily to the point that it now employs 85 people with an annual turnover of £4.5million.
Over the same period of time the number of clients has catapulted to more than 40.
Mr Scotney says there is more to come. “We are a fast growing company with big ambitions,” he said. “Our turnover is increasing all the time and is due to hit £6million by the end of the year.
“We already represent nearly all of the major vehicle finance providers but there is plenty more work for us to go at. I have a great team of staff here at Anglia and I’m confident that we can continue to grow to reach the £10million turnover mark within the next few years.”
As well as vehicle and asset repossession, Anglia offers a number of additional services, including vehicle transport and logistics, asset auditing and credit management. It is also one of a handful of firms to achieve both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 in recognition of its world-class standards.
As a result of its continued expansion, Anglia is currently recruiting for new staff such as regional credit managers, repossession agents, vehicle delivery drivers and auditors.
Mr Scotney said: “Getting the right people is vital to us achieving our goals, which is why we are committed to supporting and rewarding our team members.
“We provide extensive training, flexible working opportunities and attractive packages to make sure we continue to recruit the best.”
