Business booming for dog groomer

A successful dog grooming business is hoping to extend its pooch pampering services in the coming months.

Pretty 4 Pawz dog grooming, based in Moulton Chapel, is a family owned business, started in 2013 by Sue Thrush.

Sue is a passionate animal lover with more than 40 years’ experience of owning, training and rescuing dogs.

After running a dog walking and doggy day care business abroad, Sue moved back to the UK and made the natural progression to dog grooming, receiving her professional certification in 2013.

She said: “Dogs have always been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember.

“As a professional groomer I feel that it is important to keep myself up to date on the latest techniques and attend seminars and workshops that are available and subscribe to online grooming magazines.

“To complement my dog grooming business I also supply handmade doggie treats, handmade doggie clothing and accessories, dog walking services and doggie day care services.

“As the business is growing month on month due mainly to referrals from my loyal clients,  I intend to increase the floor size of the salon within the next six months of trading to enable Pretty 4 Pawz to offer a better spa experience for my furry clients.

“Pretty 4 Pawz DogGrooming will continue to keep the personal one to one grooming experience for my clients’ beloved pets but by extending my salon size I will be able  to introduce some high tech up-to-date equipment whilst still maintaining the relaxed and calm atmosphere which is already  available at Pretty 4 Pawz Dog Grooming.
