Burglars broke through shutters at Long Sutton store

Burglars used disc cutters before jemmying open security shutters at a Long Sutton shop.

Police were alerted when the alarm was activated at the Spar shop in London Road at about 3.45am on Tuesday, April 1.

The burglars also disabled the security camera.

As yet it is unclear what may have been stolen from the store, but it is believed the burglars left the scene along Seagate Road, towards the A17, in a small, black car, possibly a Corsa.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses who saw the incident, or who may have seen the black car approaching or leaving the scene.

Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting the incident number. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
