Brothers get on their bikes

Two brothers are set to cycle 100 miles for a nine-year-old from Spalding with a rare disease.
Adam Jones, who owns Everybody’s Gym in Bedford Place, and his brother Ben will be cycling 100 miles to Goulston on Sea to raise money for The Lily Foundation this Sunday.
It’s all raising funds for gym regular Becki Hilling’s nine-year-old daughter Kiya who has mitochondrial disease.
And the pair have already smashed their £650 target having raised over £800.
Adam said: “I’d been talking to Becki about it at the gym and just hadn’t heard much about mitochondrial disease or The Lily Foundation.
“It felt like something I wanted to raise money and awareness of so we took on this challenge of cycling 100 miles from the gym to Norfolk.”
Both brothers are used to fitness, particularly taking part in half marathons and Tough Mudder events, but they chose cycling because it was something they hadn’t done before.
“It’s different and it’s taking its toll on my knees and back as someone who is 6ft 4ins,” Adam said. “But it’s all for a brilliant cause.
“The response we’ve had so far has been brilliant and everyone at the gym has been donating money or wishing us luck.”
