‘Brilliant’ year for cat donations

Generous animal lovers have risen to the challenge of the Spalding and District Cats Protection appeal for food and domestic items for the fostered four-legged friends.

Sandra Gelsthorpe, who has run the local Cats Protection for 29 years, said the response has been brilliant and as well as dropping food off to The Voice office, people have taken items directly to the Cats Protection base.

Sandra said she has about ten cats in her care ready for re-homing at the moment, following a successful rehoming day just before Christmas.
