Blankets for community

Members of the congregation at a Holbeach Church have been creating blankets to help people in need.
All Saints’ Church has been the centre of a community knitting and crochet project.
“We received donations of hundreds of balls of wool and volunteers took part in making blankets.
“We had a ‘Sew-up Saturday’ putting together all the blankets and preparing them ready for distribution,” said the Rev Sherine Angus.
More than 60 blankets were made by the congregation and wider community and they will be given out with the Christmas boxes from Holbeach Community Larder to help vulnerable people.
