Elsewhere, breaks of 34 and 29 from Martin O’Connor (scr) helped Pyramid B defeat Gosberton A 5-2, while Consti D also picked up five points from their trip to Gosberton B.

The closest game of the week saw Consti C edge out Holbeach B 4-3. Stewart Davies (R30) and Alan Hansard (R70) were the frame winners, while Davies and Tony Blanchard (R60) made breaks of 22 and 23 respectively.
