Billiards round-up: Leaders Holbeach A extend their advantage with big win

Spalding and District Billiards League leaders Holbeach A strengthened their position with a 7-0 whitewash win over Crowland A on Monday night.

Colin Dodd made breaks of 25, 23 and 22 (unfinished) for the table-toppers as he won the final frame.

Second-placed Holbeach B were 5-2 winners at Crowland B to stay in touch with their friendly foes.

However, Rob Childs (O250) starred for the hosts with breaks of 54, 48 and 38.

Elsewhere, Pyramid B romped to an impressive 7-0 victory at Gosberton A as Martin O’Connor (R20) sank a 39 break.

Consti A also beat Long Sutton A 5-2 with Stewart Davies (R30) sinking a cool 36 break.
