Ball and Christmas fair to raise funds

A voluntary group which runs events in Holbeach has two fundraisers coming up in the run up to Christmas.

This Saturday (November 22) Holbeach Community First holds its annual fundraising ball, a night of glamour themed Oscars.
Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course dinner along with wine and welcome drinks.
A raffle throughout the evening raises funds which will go to Better2gether, a valued community group run by The Holbeach Hub.
After dinner will be a night of great entertainment by the excellent band, Crazy Ape.
The event, which is now sold out, raises much needed funds for valuable community organisations. From last year’s event £1,000 was donated to Holbeach Christmas Lighting Committee.
lOn Saturday, December 20, there will be a Christmas Fair in All Saints’ Church, from 11am to 4pm.
It promises to be a magical day for all the family to enjoy in the grounds of the church and inside.
There will be a chance to meet Santa from 1pm to 3pm.
Other attractions include mulled wine and a bar, entertainment, face painting and food including a hog roast, barbecue and cakes.
There will be craft and collectables stalls to find that last-minute gift.
A Christmas tree festival will be provided by the church and there will be a bar and food vendors along with inflatable fun for the children and adults.
This is followed by carols in the church at 4pm.
There are limited stall spaces left at £10 per pitch, anyone interested should contact Stephen on 07824 395793.
