Ayscoughfee Hall’s book fairies sprinkle magic around town

Keep a look out around Spalding for packages of books left by book fairies from Spalding’s Ayscoughfee Hall School.

Tied with green ribbon they will be hidden in plain sight around town.

Headteacher Theresa Wright said: “The book fairy initiative started in 2020 but just as we collected donations we entered lockdown.

“The books have been supplemented by donations from our school library and will be hidden by our librarians, Anna and Georgina and our Kindness Ambassadors, Jenna and Molly. If you find a package of books, having enjoyed them please leave them for someone else or donate them to a charity shop.”
