Avon sales leader Helen made up with reward trip to New York

An Avon representative from Spalding with more than 400 people in her team has been rewarded with an amazing trip to New York.

Helen Redman flies out to the Big Apple on Thursday (November 19) as thanks for her hard work and help in growing the cosmetics firm’s business.

She is one of Avon’s top 20 sales leaders in the country who will stay at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria hotel and experience VIP treatment for four days. There will be trips to all of the sights, visits to top bars and restaurants including a dining cruise along the Hudson River, and a lunch date with Avon Cosmetics CEO Sheri McCoy in honour of their outstanding achievements.

Helen said: “I have never been to New York before so I am really excited to visit such an iconic place. Social events with other sales leaders are always such great fun, so I have no doubt this trip will be too.”

News of the prize reached Helen by a balloon with a personalised message letting her know that she had qualified for this year’s trip.

Helen, who heads a team of independent representatives and sales leaders, said: “I’ve been working really hard to build my team this year and I am absolutely thrilled that my hard work has been recognised by Avon.

“When I received a box at my door I was so excited. I opened it and a balloon flew out with a message saying I was going to New York – I couldn’t believe it!”

Helen said working with Avon had offered her many opportunities.

She added: “I have met so many new people that will be lifelong friends, and have also learnt so many skills from the recruitment and training process. I love running my Avon business and can’t wait to celebrate another great year of successes alongside the other winners.”
