Ava is a litter picking Saint

A Spalding five-year-old’s unusual request to Santa has left her clearing up.

When asked what she wanted for Christmas, Ava Saint surprised her parents by asking for a litter picker.

And after Santa delivered, she has spent recent weekends going around and clearing up.

“The litter around Spalding really frustrates her,” said Ava’s mum Kerry Saint.

“She’s been filling bags of litter from her local park and Monkshouse School where she’s a pupil.

“Ava wants to go out every week and do a different area of Spalding each time. She’s very passionate about it.”
