Arrests after spate of thefts in Holbeach

A woman and man in their 30s have been arrested after a spate of thefts in Holbeach.

Lincolnshire Police say they know of at least five incidents of items being taken from vehicles that occurred in the town on April 1.

They include reports of thefts on Northons Lane, Langwith Gardens and Fishpond Lane.

South Holland Police announced that two people had been arrested for the thefts later that day.

Some of the property that was stolen has been recovered, police say, and they’re urging anyone who believes the items might be theirs to get in touch.

A spokesman said: “A 31-year-old old man and a 38-year-old woman have been released under investigation in relation to a series of thefts from motor vehicles in the Holbeach area.

“There have been at least five incidents that we know of and we have recovered some of the stolen property.

“Anyone who has been a victim and believes we may have their property should call 101 quoting 48 of 1 April 2021.

“Locations were these crimes have happened include Northons Lane, Langwith Gardens and Fishpond Lane.

“Items stolen include bulbs, an oxygen sensor, Samsung mobile phone and some minor items too.”
