Appeal after teen using zebra crossing near school hit by car

A teenager was injured after being hit by a car while using a zebra crossing near Spalding schools yesterday (Thursday, February 12).

The incident involved a female pedestrian and a red Citroen C4 happened at 8.16am on Halmer Gate, close to Spalding Academy and Spalding High School.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The teenage pedestrian sustained minor injuries as a result.

“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have captured dashcam footage approaching the zebra crossing at approximately 8.10am.
