Appeal after teen using zebra crossing near school hit by car

A teenager was injured after being hit by a car while using a zebra crossing near Spalding schools yesterday (Thursday, February 12).

The incident involved a female pedestrian and a red Citroen C4 happened at 8.16am on Halmer Gate, close to Spalding Academy and Spalding High School.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The teenage pedestrian sustained minor injuries as a result.

“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have captured dashcam footage approaching the zebra crossing at approximately 8.10am.

“If you witnessed the incident and have yet to be in touch, or if you have any information that can assist with our inquiries, please get in touch by emailing PC [email protected] quoting incident 60 of February 12.”
