Appeal after reported strangulation

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for more information after reports somebody was strangled while on a Spalding road.

The incident was reported on Queens Road around 7pm on Wednesday (July 24).

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information to aid our investigation into a report of common assault and non-fatal strangulation on Queens Road in Spalding, on 24 July at 7pm.

“If you were in the area around this time and saw anything you think may be relevant to our investigation, or if you may have captured doorbell or dashcam footage with anything that may aid our inquiries, please do get in touch.

“A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and non-fatal strangulation and has been bailed with conditions whilst investigations are on-going.”
