Music legend Andy Fairweather Low’s pedigree is the stuff rock dreams are made of.
He first came to prominence at the vanguard of the new youthful expression of music as the lead singer in Amen Corner. The 60s saw them clock up hit after pop hit.
Songs such as Bend Me Shape Me and If Paradise is Half As Nice are internationally remembered to this day.
There’s so much more to Andy’s work than his Amen Corner and major solo hits such as Wide Eyed And Legless. From appearances on Later With Jools Holland and Glastonbury to opening shows for Eric Clapton and Robert Cray.
As well as Andy on guitar and vocals his The Lowriders band line-up is Dave Bronze on bass and vocals, Paul Beavis on drums and Nick Pentelow on sax and clarinet.
Audiences can experience Andy Fairweather Low’s talent for themselves when he performs in concert with the Lowriders, at the South Holland Centre tonight.
Tickets are £20 from 01775 764777, www.southhollandcentre.co.uk or in person at the Box Office.
