Allen impresses as Lincoln march on

Dewhursts Trophies Pinchbeck & District Summer League leaders Lincoln Arms A consolidated their position with a 16-11 home win over Tigers Club.

After taking a 7-2 lead from the pairs, the singles produced a tight contest with every game decided 2-1. Ash Allen impressed with a 15-dart leg in his win over Paul Blow, hitting eight scores of 100 or more. Jayden Lee struck a 180 for the Tigers, while Steve Stancer and Paul Blow recorded an 18-dart leg in the pairs for Lincoln.

Royal Mail Cart remain firmly in contention after an 18-9 win at Services Club B. Chris Fidler was in excellent form, hitting a 17-dart leg and a 180 in his singles win, and with partner Stu Page added another 17-dart leg in the pairs. Page also produced a 108 checkout in the singles. Reece Winkley hit a 110 checkout and Jack Chilvers a 114 checkout, both for the Mail Cart.

Pinchbeck FC B earned a much-needed 18-9 win at Green Dragon A. Jon Goor hit a 180 but lost his singles 3-0 to John MacKenzie, who included a 120 finish in his victory.

A night earlier, the football club side were beaten 16-11 by Tigers Club. Jayden Lee hit another 180 for the Tigers, while MacKenzie added one for the Pinchbeck side.

In Division B, leaders Green Dragon Z won 15-12 at Consti Club Z. With the scores tied at 12-12, Callum Day secured the win with a 3-0 success in the final singles.

Lincoln Arms D moved into second place after a strong 20-7 win at Consti Club B, with Stacey Banister registering a 120 checkout in her 2-1 win over Matt Broderick.

Consti Club D claimed a 15-12 win at Drayman’s Arms B thanks to a decisive 3-0 victory for Danny Drage in the final game over Tyler Morris. Lewis Turner added a 180 for the Consti.

There are new leaders in Division C, with Pinchbeck FC taking top spot after an impressive 20-7 home win against second-placed Services Club A. The only success for Services came in the final game, when Sarah O’Driscoll beat Kelly Amess 2-1.

In the battle of the bottom two sides, Consti Club A secured a 17-10 win at Drayman’s Arms A, with Kev Bailey the standout performer, beating Kieran Twitchen 3-0.
