Alleged drug dealers sent for trial

Two alleged Spalding drug dealers have been sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court by magistrates in Boston.

Aleks Szerafin, 24, of Celandine Close, admitted supplying cannabis to others and possessing cannabis with intent to supply, although on a basis that could not be agreed to by the Crown Prosecution Service.

Modestas Stasys, 22, of London Road, denied possessing £360 in cash acquired as the proceeds of crime and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Prosecuting, Callum Morris said police in Spalding arrested the two after they ran off when they were being seen on another matter on October 26 2020.

Szerafin will face a trial to establish the facts of the charges he admitted whereas Stasys will face a full trial following his ‘not guilty’ pleas.

They were both granted bail to appear at the crown court on July 20.
