Alert: Police issue rogue traders warning

A PCSO at Holbeach Police Station has issued a warning about rogue trader activity in the area.

A statement issued this morning (Monday) said:

“We have been contacted this morning regarding suspicious activity involving a white crew cab pick up being in the area of Gedney Broadgate.

“The male occupants visited the address of an elderly resident and offered to tarmac her driveway for £6,000.

“The vehicle was last seen heading in the direction of Sutton St James.

“We strongly advise against employing anyone who comes to your door offering to do casual work.

“We would like to speak to the males involved.

“If you have any information to assist us in dealing with this matter please call in on our 101 number and quote incident 92 of 10/09/2018.”
