Act II’s Shrek-age

Don’t be a donkey and miss out on the latest production by Act II.

The South Holland group is putting on two showings of Shrek the Musical.

Both shows are at the South Holland Centre on Saturday (January 24).

The showing with the junior cast is at 2.30pm and with the senior cast at 7.30pm.

A spokesman for the venue said: ” Based on the beloved animated film, this is a magical tale of love, friendship and swamp gasses.

“Get ready for an Shrektastic journey into the world of fairytales as we meet everyone’s favourite ogre: Shrek!

Trouble is, Shrek doesn’t want to see everybody else, he just wants a quiet life in his swamp, alone. A host of fairytale characters have been dumped in his swamp and the only way Shrek is going to get it back is to go on a quest, fight a dragon and save a princess. And his new self-appointed best friend Donkey is going along for the ride. What could possibly go wrong?”
