Act II get curious with latest show

Act II is bringing a modern theatre classic to the South Holland Centre.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is adapted from the bestselling book of the same title.
It tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher Boone.
He likes space, maths and the colour red. He notices many small details about the world around him but struggles to understand other people and interpret everyday life.
When suspicion falls on him after an incident with a dog, he has to turn detective, uncovering all kinds of mysteries.
Act II’s production puts the audience firmly into Christopher’s head, with the whole stage space representing his mind.
Using storytelling techniques and a close actor- audience relationship, a highly visceral and immersive experience is created.
Director Charlotte Gernert said: “This story is packed full; it’s funny, sad, heart-warming, heart-breaking, challenging and emotional.
“Our cast has worked very hard to explore the complexity of the character of Christopher and present him and the world he lives in, in a respectful and open way.
“We are hugely excited and proud to bring this beautiful story to life.”
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is at 7.30pm on both Friday and Saturday (February 14 and 15) and 2.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets are £12 or £10 for concessions and available from www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
