Accountants get ready to trek for good cause

A team of accountants will be swapping their smart shoes and suits for walking boots as they prepare for a charity trek.
On Sunday, December 13, six Moore Thompson staff members will set off from the firm’s Market Deeping office in Market Place and walk more than 14 miles to the practice’s Spalding office in Broad Street.
The team made up of accountants Emma Wilson, James Walsham and Laura Grimer from Moore Thompson and Chelsea Wilshire, Kirsty Holmes and Jayne Booth from MT Financial Management will complete the trek in aid of the Moore Thompson Charity Fund, the practises’ own in-house organisation that donates money to a number of good causes.
Managing Partner Mark Hildred said: “Everyone at Moore Thompson is really proud of the team taking part in this walk and we hope that this will bring a massive boost to our charity.
It is hoped the event will push the firm’s annual fundraising efforts past the £3,000 mark.
