A little bit of flower power

Ahead of the Spalding Flower Parade, lessons on how to make miniature flower displays will be on offer.

Kit Meggitt will be at Spalding Library from 10am to noon on Tuesday, May 6.

“As a community minded person mad about miniatures I was invited to participate in the first ‘People’s Parade’ a few years ago and created a small trailer with a ‘tulip village’.

“Many people helped me produce nearly 5,000 one inch flowers.

“Now you can learn and make an bunch yourself.

“Miniature making is mindful yet also a great to chat with like-minded folk.”
