Three players were sent off as Pinchbeck United suffered a 1-0 defeat at Oadby Town on Saturday.
Ross Woolley saved a second-half penalty as the Knights looked set to end their 14-game losing streak with a draw, but Oadby grabbed an 83rd-minute winner through Lamar Parkes.
Pinchbeck’s Ndreqim Krashiqi and the home team’s Gurpit Thandi had earlier been sent off for a first-half altercation, while Dan Worthington was also sent off for innocuous incident late on while the scores were still level.
Player/boss Ian Dunn said: “It was a horrible game in tough conditions. I really thought that we were going to get a 0-0, but that late red card didn’t help us.
“We looked solid at the back and enjoyed plenty of possession, but just didn’t create enough.
“I do feel the way we played was a good platform for us to build on.”
Pinchbeck’s home game with Rothwell Corinthians on Tuesday night was rained off because of a waterlogged pitch.
