Walking sessions resume at Spalding Hockey Club after festive break

Spalding Hockey Club’s popular walking hockey sessions are due to resume after the Christmas break.

They will take place on Wednesday mornings (10.30am-11.30am) on the all-weather pitch at Glen Park in Surfleet (PE11 4DB) – and will continue weekly for the foreseeable future.

The sessions are open to players of all ages and abilities, including complete beginners.

Participants are asked to wear suitable trainers and shinpads are advisable. Sticks are also available if required.

The cost is £5 per session to cover pitch hire and equipment costs, which is payable on the day – so just turn up on the day.

Sessions are ideal for those who fancy learning a new skill, a bit of light exercise and making new friends.

For walking footballers, treat this like football with sticks.
