Cuddles delivered for Christmas

The organiser of a charity that delivered cuddly toys and gifts to children for Christmas has thanked everyone who donated.

Mark Le Sage, who organised the “Donate a Cuddle For Christmas” appeal as part of his Ella’s Project charity, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated pre loved cuddly toys and gifts. We had the most wonderful response to our appeal and have helped so many families and children have a merry Christmas.”

Special thanks were given to Spalding High School, which donated “over 500 cuddles”.

The Give a Gift appeal also donated cuddly toys.

Mr Le Sage added: “However our work is never done and we would now like to ask for any good quality undamaged children’s clothes ages 0-5 to be donated as our stocks are now quite low.

“We would appreciate it if the bags containing any donations are marked up stating the sizes of the clothes inside.

“We are also asking for nappies as a one off appeal. We can only except new unopened bags of nappies, no part bags.”

Donations can be dropped off at Tonic Health in Spalding or The Baytree Cafe, Weston.
