A 29-year-old Spalding woman has been banned from driving after a court heard that she had illegal amounts of cocaine and cannabis in her bloodstream when driving her car.
Amie Browne of Chestnut Avenue admitted three charges of driving under the influence of drugs and one of driving without insurance, when she appeared at Boston Magistrates Court.
Magistrates heard she was stopped at 4pm on April 2 in Park Road while driving her Nissan Micra and was arrested after providing a positive drugs wipe.
It was said forensic tests revealed she had 24 microgrammes of cocaine in her bloodstream, the legal limit being 10; 712 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine, which is cocaine after it has broken down, the legal limit being 50; and 4.4 microgramme of cannabis, the legal limit being 2.
Helen Coney, mitigating for Browne, said she had no previous convictions and had not been stopped because of her driving but because her car was recorded as having no insurance.
Banning her from driving for 15 months, the magistrates also fined her a total of £458 and ordered her to pay £115 in costs and charges.
