Santa arrived in style on Saturday when he paramotored into Baytree Nurseries.
Crowds at the Weston garden centre were wowed as they watched Santa descend from the sky before being collected and driven in by Mark Le Sage in a gold Rolls Royce.
Ably assisted by his elves and Rudolph, Santa handed out treats to the children.
His arrival marked the official opening of the Winter Wonderland grotto at Baytree.
Grotto bookings manager Darren Wright said: “Santa has arrived in some interesting ways in the past but this was a new one, even for us!
“The rain dried up just in time for us to get Santa in his harness and into the sky, which was great.”
Family pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs comes to the Baytree Theatre this year and the dwarfs were on hand to meet visitors and promote the show on Saturday.
The panto runs from December 9 to 30.
